Wyoming | The thing that jumps out at me isn't the pay rate, or the OT.
It is "21 days on, 2 days off."
That, right there, is a big problem.
Most nurses working 12's are working no more than three shifts in a row, then they get at least two days off, etc. A 12-hour shift of nursing is grueling on many nurses, especially if it is a critical care situation (like ICU or ER). I could see that lots of nurses who have families will not touch that deal, so they're apt to end up with a bunch of young, inexperienced nurses who aren't married and who don't have children, because only the young (in their 20's) folks can survive 21 days of 12-hour shifts.
Yea, errors are quire likely to happen.
