Interesting chart and makes one think a bit.. I agree in never say never- 2012 changed that mindset for me, but some things missing like currency valuation, yields/acre, etc 30 Bu corn with bin run seed, no purchased inputs 90 years ago is a different situation- maybe we will move that direction somewhat in next few years.

What worries me is it took a decade for agriculture to dig out of the Depression and close to that in the 80's. Wasn't that long ago cash corn was under $2, which is something a lot of the younger farming generation has not experienced-or double digit interest rates.

Land has to make a bit of a correction and is probably doing that now.
