East Central South Dakota | Thank you, and you just nailed the problem. Farm organizations and commodity groups have become little socialist Governments in their own right---representing a minority. How elections are all decided ahead of the real vote on commodity boards and old families entrenched in farm organizations---running those. They all just lobby for dollars to bring to the masses thinking that is how they should do their jobs. Real meaningful policy debate has lost its way in the chase to bring "more" to the farmers. The trouble is the "more you get" the more you need to survive because you have forget how to be accountable for your actions and how the profit on your tax return is "your responsibility" not Washington D.C.'s.
