As of this year you do have to go thru a school to get a CDL in Illinois....****you know, because all the SWIFT and Schneider drivers are so excellent examples of the classes. Someone that's motivated enough to find a truck to drive and figure it out on their own time would never be able to drive that good...***
No. That law was due to take effect February 7 but got postponed 2 years
