Paul, if you watch the video you’ll see where he says he thinks NY should be done because we already have the best data there and because it’s likely it has spread the furthest there. We are trying to get insight into how long this thing is going to last so going where it had spread the most is a good idea.

He suggested 15,000 random people in NYC. I don’t have any reason to doubt that number.

Plenty of people would volunteer for such a test. Getting 15,000 random people would be easy.

Maybe it’s chaos, maybe it’s not. Even if it is, if it’s only chaos because it’s towards the end of the exponential curve then it’s good for us to know so we can get back to work as a nation without a guilty conscience.
