It has since split up a bit into Libra Office and Apache Office and maybe one other.
They are all free ware, open source, clones of Windows office and work fairly well if you don’t get very very complicated documents. They are 95% compatible with reading the different file formats of the official Office.
For free, certainly worth a download. This is real deal, totally free, and as I say works on most documents.
