Bone pile is right. If you don't have the virus you are not at the hospital. Most hospitals are losing vast amounts of money right now. The areas that have a lot of cases are busy/overwhelmed. The areas with few or no cases are empty with no patients and now incoming revenue. My wife, along with the rest of the administration at her hospital took a voluntary pay cut to help reduce payroll. She has already had a couple rounds of furlowing nurses. I believe they have already told some of the larger area hospitals that they will take their COVID patient if they send PPE along with the patient. It's a very strange time in health care right now. This could shut down a lot of small independent hospitals if "the surge" never comes.
