Subject: RE: Challenger 665D cable routing

Sibley County, MN
Here's a few pictures showing how I ran the cabling for my Ag Leader InCommand 1200, also with steer command. Your D should have the steering valve built in, may want to check your VIN at the dealer. But since you already have the OnTrac3, I don't blame you for starting with that.
From the back of the InCommand, I just ran the cables down the pillar, as you can see in the first photo. The power cable was long enough, I just ran it from the battery, under the cab, entering the cab thru the grommet below the rear window. Got the black sleeve with Velcro closure from a local hydraulic shop and put everything inside there to keep it tidy. Made up a holder out of banding material to keep it up off the floor and out of way of your feet. It's been a while, don't remember exactly where, but I got the receiver wiring routed thru the fender with the warning light wiring, then up the outside of the cab pillar as the last picture shows.
