The first amendment guarantees the right of the people to peacefully assemble. Just because others are uncomfortable with the Choice of this Amish community to accept this risk of this wedding doesn’t mean that anybody else should be trying to take away there 1st amendment right.

Freedom isn’t safe, it has always been paid for heavily. If you are personally worried about this virus then do what you need to control it in your own life, but don’t tell other people what to do. We have more control over our lives then anyone else.

Freedoms tend to be lost in a time of crisis when everybody is freaking out, because apparently the government knows better then us. We all know this isn’t true.

Every single one of us is in a different situation. Some of us are healthy and strong. We realize the threat really isn’t too us, but it does mean we aren’t going to be seeing some people we know are at risk.

Others shave some health issues and are reasonably worried about it. These people should take additional precautions and isolate themselves as much as practical.

Others aren’t the healthiest but they have accepted this risk and aren’t going to let a virus dictate there schedule. As long as they are still taking precautions to not spread it to vulnerable people. I think it is there freedom to make this choice.

We have become so pathetic, what would we do without the all knowing government.

And can we all just remember to treat people nicely. The Coronavirus is not a good reason to be rude. Let’s put ourselves in other people’s shoes. The decisions people make usually make sense to them. Let’s try to seek to understand before we declare them to be a grandma murderer.

John
