Our 1 year old got a cut on her head at daycare. Called dr. and were told to take her to the ER. She got it glued shut, no stitches. Got bill today. $1331. We're on a hdhp so no insurance help. We even told the er that we were cash pay, expecting a somewhat reasonable bill. What luck might I have negotiating this bill lower? It just seems like robbery.
