| WItitan2 - 4/2/2020 21:17 Ok, now run the numbers. Look at what I sold my truck for. Now look at what the guy got for trade on a 2016 Mack. A friend of mine sold his 2016 Peterbilt 579 for $62k. That's 50k difference between between 2 trucks that were only about $5k difference when new. You can buy a lot of fuel for 45-50k. Now, over the course of a trucks lifetime, the aero truck will save enough fuel to offset the resale value, but it's going to take a while. Plus with the Pete you get to drive a cool truck.
Now run the numbers for the guys that bought the used trucks. Its the same math that has kept me from ever buying a JD tractor other than the 720 that was my grandpa's many years ago.
I haven't really cared about looking "cool" since I was a teenager. That's been a few years :-)
