Mid Michigan | I heard today on the news that some of the states phone call in volumes are up 16,000 percent! Yes, sixteen thousand. He's going to have to keep trying on the phone and first he has to get past the busy signal and if he actually gets through he might just have to sit on the phone for 6 or 8 hours until somebody picks up. That was the advice on the news today. I don't think any system was equipped to take on this situation and I can't imagine benefits lasting very long with that many people off work. They have interviewed many on the news that just can't get anything to work. A lot of people don't have reliable phone or internet service or the knowledge on how to deal with this mess. | |
