Of course he is at odds with him. Fauci has one thing on his mind and that is this virus. Trump has to look at the virus and what this has been doing to the economy. If it were up to the Drs they would have the world shut down until they can get a vaccine. If it were up to the economists they would have never shut everything down. Trump has to play a balancing act all while trying to make sure to not cause panic.

Pretty much you explained the entire issue right there.
Same as, we will be locked down until July, at which time maybe they can reevaluate and see where we are with drug therapies, medical supplies, and where ‘herd immunization’ is at. Then maybe they can move to isolation of certain groups, but relaxed general population.
But if they say that in March, everyone gets pretty claustrophobic.
So, we start with 2 weeks, then in a week they kinda say it will be a month. Near the end of April, it will be we have to get through May....
