Read the whole sentence. Prices are plenty high to COVER VARIABLE COSTS. Combines are not a variable cost. Your overhead is a sunk cost. The bank will send a bill for the equipment and want their money whether you planted or not. Your landlord wants that cash rent check, whether you planted or not.
