Saronville NE
Problem isn't the prices. It's the inputs haven't come down to reality. Seed corn is still like $5 corn. Fertilizer has come down but not like it should have. Chemicals have gone up. Rent is crazy, but here in NE with the insane tax's, landowners don't want to come down and always someone insane enough to give it again. If inputs would realign is nothing wrong with $3 or less corn. Machinery is same way. What a new 8410rx costs you can buy 2 late model low hour 8370s. $130 shop labor. Everyone is taking a piece of the pie. That is the real issue here not $3 corn!!!
