If someone has another money making option, I want in!
Ok.... here's another money-making idea..... this one is a little devious:
Step 1. Buy some gold flakes and/or small nuggets.
Step 2. Hire a well drilling company to drill a well at a place on your farm where the geology is "unique"
Step 3. Sprinkle the gold flakes in the pile of tailings by the drilling truck.
Step 4. Loudly exclaim, "Hwhat in Tarnation?!?!" Pick up some of the flakes and show them to the drilling rig operator. Let him keep a flake to show his buddies and boss.
Step 5. Contact the state geology department, and tell them what you found. This will be corroborated by the drilling rig operator.
Step 6. Also contact the local newspaper reporter and TV station to do a story about your "find"
Step 7. Sell the land for $MILLIONS more than standard farmland prices because it might have gold in it.
Step 8. Disappear to some remote wilderness area.... or fake your own death....
