Pierce county WI | It's been happening for years. It's just been in the last decade maybe that people have been moving to the inner cities again. After ww2 the suburbs started to grow. The interstates further spurred the move. The revitalization of cities is a relatively new movement. Look at the development along the river in Minneapolis. I'm 45 minutes east of St Paul. A large percentage of people who live here commute. That will continue. E commerce will continue to move people further out. Pretty easy to subdivide a quarter into 40s. What manufacturing company is building in the inner city? They move further out with access to interstates. | |
