Like the great depression, I suspect this event causes a paradigm shift in the thinking of people right now. The young people that started the gentrification of the inner cities, are probably rethinking the idea of living close to one another. The amount of workers laid off will probably lead to companies realizing they were overstaffed. A large percentage of restaurants will never reopen. People will embrace family life more now. Comfort foods will gain popularity. I don't think the economy jumps right back. I disagree with the thinking that electric car sales are going to skyrocket. Technology is expensive, oil will be cheap. With people being conservative, they will probably keep what they have. How many people now working from home, will just continue working from home? I see a movement of people moving out to rural areas and away from population. Or maybe I'm way off.
