| Both North Dakota and Kansas had a jump in corn acreage for 2019.. it’s just becoming apparent that we struggled on yields.. In Kansas lots of dryland corn here did 40s to 65 bu.. like 50 to 70 bu yields on 5 to 35% drown out giving a goose egg.. etc..
So we’re still shaking out what the production was.
NASS does a pretty decent job.. doesn’t mean we can’t try to guess where they are headed.
Evidence shows.. see above.. that for some areas.. they will be revising lower in the case of ND and Ks..
We will see.
I could be wrong.. and uhm yes.. NASS probably has done better than moi. | |
