Smart phones won't last more than a day with any sort of use. You just have to get use to putting it on charge more. They are doing way more work that you old phone did and need the energy to do it. You can get external batteries for them, mine is on charge as soon as I sit on the tractor and there is a wireless charger/holder coming for it this week.

Charging them is a little irritaing, but it's a small price to pay for the use they are in 2020.
