You have a gmail account.  Open up your gmail.  In the top right hand corner click on the nine dots to open google apps chose "Drive".
Now click on NEW top left.  Click on " File Upload".  Find your Word Docx. and click "Open".  On Drive right click your uploaded file.  Chose open with Google Docs if you wish to edit with google online.
