I read that in the US we average about 2.9 million deaths a year or about 8,000 per day. Maybe with all the reduced driving auto accidents will go down enough to offset the deaths from covid-19. Looks like in 2016 we averaged 102 auto accident deaths a day killing about 33,000 people for the year. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_causes_of_death_by_rate Of the covid-19 deaths I wonder how many would have died anyway within the year due to underlying other health issues? It seems the majority of the deaths are from people already sick with other complications. Not all of course. John
