We have looked at a 7100 planter locally and it the transmission is welded on like the 7000 planters. We Chop up 12 row 7000s and make 2 row 3pt planters out of them so we have several transmissions and other extra parts. $250 for a good transmission. Located in Colfax IN My number is 765-404-0390
