I'm bear spread April-July hogs. I've already lost 10k in the hog pits this year. Why not fire her out a little longer? Captain goes down with the ship.

Any thoughts on normal seasonal action in the hog pit? I would like to take some profits in the April short and watch the July come back but if these plants shut down... katy bar the door.

Bold predictions that are better than mine welcome.

June hogs have only traded under 60$ twice in the last 15 years. Seems like the bears are in control of this market for now. Front month hogs have been bleeding lower as they get closer to expiration for a while now.
