Missouri | Ouch. That's a new one for me and hope to never see another. I have seen animals over come some very unusual handicaps. I have a few thoughts. Like contact the University Vet School. Send them the pictures, maybe they would play with it or offer suggestions. Some how if it was removed and let it scar over. I think the calf would compensate until 3-500 #. I have seen one loose a front leg and walk around on the exposed bone. It had a frozen frost bite hoof if I remember . Finally had to deal with him as be got bigger as it hurt to watch him walk.
