Texas/New Mexico Stateline | The only real world experience I've had is a neighboring school district does 4 day weeks. With a few 5 day weeks here and there to keep the school year from being too long. They do have longer days, and in the winter I have noticed the school bus coming by at nearly dark taking kids home. That seems like an awfully long day, especially for the younger ones.
If we had all older kids, I think I would really like it. Especially since wife is stay at home mom, and my work schedule is flexible so we wouldn't need childcare on the non-school Fridays.
