How much more credit expansion can we absorb? All this hoarding is being put on credit card , to be dealt with later, student loans, car loans , home loans , home equity, etc . We are becoming slaves to debt. Raise rates might slow the borrowing, and encourage people to save
We need to save more , not borrow and spend more
