Have some silage at 5.6 CP. with the talk of DDGS going forward - wondering what would be a good option for me, possibly very stupid question -- could liquid supplement be stored and added to mix wagon from a barrel stand similar to a 250 gal fuel barrel? Otherwise how does bean meal compare$/balance out for what I need?


What size of cattle are you feeding? You don’t want to use urea based “protein” as your main protein source for calves. Rations got a lot more complicated now that distillers grains are gone or hard to get.
