What would a 40-20 pellet cost in your area? You could have Rumensin added if needed. It might take 1/2-3/4#/Hd/day. Liquid is an option also.
Agree with the pellets. Can buy various types to aid or accomplished other things. We used them in addition to silage and marginal hay and got along well for minimal cost.
