Subject: How about a one year CRP

Maybe the USDA should have a one year CRP since times aren’t the best. It gets paid to the producer. Pays enough to cover your rent and plant a cover crop. I’m not saying on good ground, I mean on some marginal or steep ground which some people don’t have. This would lower planted acres, which would help price. Less seed and fertilizer would be used so might drive those prices down next year. Would help erosion which Iowa State just sent a thing out this week saying how much topsoil we are losing. We don’t need to be planting 90 million acres of corn. I’m sure I will get flamed.
