We do it to push bean production forward for all mankind lol. In 2018 it was just research that we thought would fail and have to replant. They made 77 bushel. Last year We used a 2.6 and 2.9 and they made 84 bushel, had areas over 115. The cool part about last year was the 2.9 was fully matured b4 a June planted 2.0. This year I have a 2.8 in ground and will be doing a 3.1 if I can get it planted by April 20th. Thee early beans don’t”hurt” yield, the goal of all bean producers is to get the beans out of the ground as soon as possible and get into R1 b4 June 21st. Also we do it because it’s just fun!
