It may be a dumb question but in a “run on the banks” situation are physical dollars the best currency or would it be better to own actual physical products of useful value instead? I just remember hearing stories of a time where it took a wheelbarrow full of money to buy a loaf of bread. I’m wondering if that would be the case here as well.
