Subject: Pasture Grazing Readiness

West Central Illinois
I've always heard mixed information on this topic, cool season pasture (fescue/brome/orchard) what's the rule of thumb on when grass is ready? I've heard anywhere from at 2 leaves 4" high it's good and some have said wait until 4 leaves are on the grass. This is a pasture that will get grazed a few weeks at turnout then they'll be moved until memorial day where they'll be brought back here to be dewormed again and a 2nd implant.
