SE Nebraska | I use the bextra heavy duty as well. Ours are black paint. We have 5 or 6 of them right now. Feeding any kind of hay or stalks that falls apart needs to have the netwrap taken off the bale while its in the air above the feeder which is a pain. Waste is def a lot less than traditional ring feeders. For us, the skirt is always the first thing that breaks or rusts at the weld. Mfgs always build their feeders with such thin steel on the skirts that when you try to repair them, they disintegrate trying to weld it back on. | |
