Buffalo IL | For hay savers. I bought 3 of the bextra hayrings(I think that's the right name) and they work very well. There is one draw back. Frozen bales may need to have the outside layer broke so they can get the hay. Second you have to be able to put the bales over the top. I believe they cost me $650 each. I have these other bale rings made by a local welding shop and some are over 30 years old, but you do get way more waste. They make one like the bextra, but I thought I would try the bextra's first, before I spent $1100 each. plan on needing 3 people to put the bextra's together. It takes some effort getting the bolts installed.
Edit pics loaded backwards. Bextra is bottom photo. The hay on the ground is what fell off while dumping bale into the ring.
