Only true if the cattle numbers are there. Most of us in cow country have been trying to tell everyone that the calf losses caused by bad weather in 2018 and 2019 were going to be felt at some point. Feeders have consequently been pulled forward. If there is this big stockpile of feeders I don’t know where to find them. They sure as heck are not in either of the Dakotas. This is about the third person to tell of a story of short feeder supplies in the last 30 days. Maybe they are piled up in the Southern states I don’t know but they are not here. The 2020 crop will be even shorter with all the open cows last fall.

I agree with that statement, but has NASS came out with accurate numbers in any of the last several years.
