Washington Co Ks | The last time that I had the tire truck out it cost me $250 to have him find a small hole from a thorn in the tube. He couldn't find anything in the tire so figured the thorn pulled back out. I never moved the tractor and the next morning the tire was flat again. I then took it apart myself found another small hole took a quick look in the tire and there was the thorn plain as day. After getting the tire fixed I went to the house and ordered a bead breaker. I have fixed and replaced my tires ever since.
In the past, I have had two different guys fix rear tractor tires. One was a big guy that manhandled the tire. His hands were king of crippled up, most likely from getting them pinched. The other was a thin frail looking guy who raised and lowered the jack to do a lot of the work. I'm not that strong and used the second guy's way and found that it isn't that hard of a job. | |
