We bought this one 6 years ago for our then 10 year old daughter and 9 year old twin boys. Many hours of fun and exercise. Kids are now 16 and 15 and using it every couple days now that they are staying home from school. No injuries here so far, baseball has been more dangerous as far as injuries and we don't even allow the boys to join football. I think the trampoline has been a very good investment. Ours sits on top of the ground and don't think I would want to bury it very deep to make sure it doesn't "bottom out" when a bigger person does higher jumps. Our boys are around 6' tall and 175+ lbs and can do some pretty good flips.
