Subject: RE: milk

nw NC
Two days ago on our return from a medical appointment, the wife and I stopped at a Lidol supermarket in Winston -Salem, N.C. just to get some sugar and flour that she needed. A sign at front of the store asked people to limit purchases of some items, toilet paper and towels, some cleaners among them. Milk was listed also at two gallons per customer. I saw the milk case at the far end of the building and it was near full. I made my way there to see the price. I could hardly believe the posted price. $1.15 /gallon !!!! Code number on jug was 24-008 a processing plant in Fredrick, MD. , 335 miles away. Also stopped at local Walmart just to see milk availability and price. They were fully stocked at $2.89 gallon. Other local supermarkets are generally 3.19-3.29-3.39 when Walmart is 2.79-2.89. I get my milk out of bulk tank.
