Morris, Mb. | They are expecting western Canadian oat acres to be up significantly. With our dollar dropping hard, new crop oat prices have been holding up fairly well. We locked some in off the combine at $3.50 back in December. They had dropped down to about $3.20 but now they are back up to $3.30/3.35. If they get back up to $3.50 before seeding we will probably switch some corn out for more oats. | |
