We planted 80 acres of 58-34 on some decent ground this year and weren’t impressed. 58-06 was running about 15 bushels better on nearby similar fields. 58-34 was also 4 points wetter. 58-34 looked healthier when we were combining it (more leaves and no broken off tops). We had a lot of wind this summer and each hybrid had areas where there were some stalks leaned over. 58-06 actually might have taken the wind slightly better. We won’t be planting 58-34 anymore.
