| Had a box of it last year along with a box of 58-06 planted in the same field side by side. It was a super healthy plant with strong stalks and roots and good late season appearance. We had a small tornado come through late August and both numbers went down equally in a small portion of the field. (no corn was standing through this wind event). At the end of the day 58-06 was better by 7-8 bushels and I attribute that to the 58-34 having some tip back where the 58-06 did not. Both planted at 36k. I am not planting either hybrid this year as I opted for the new 59-81 as it did better in my plot and several other plots in the neighborhood. I wouldnt be afraid of it, just didnt perform as well as I had hoped. | |
