I've got a few pastures like that too. You better hope the rain doesn't turn off over summer or you have to haul hay then too.

some of us don't have as big of a spread as you, I sure got cattle running all summer on pastures I calve in. May rotate out for a couple months to get the grass going and some rest, but land isn't that cheap here. If they tear an area up, it needs a summer annual or reseeded with an annual cover that gets grazed too
