Close airplane mfg to and tell them to stay at home and healthly. Train them on what goes on in a kill plant and what job they might be doing ( watch training video ). Then if there is an out break of the virus at a kill plant, then there is lot of skilled labors ready to take the place of workers at the food plant.

With everything else closing down there might be a record number of people applying to work at the few places that remain open including packing plants.

You don't need many "skilled laborers" to operate a packing plant.    Those places have high turnover rates.   They are completely used to training new people, to do a very repetitive job, on a regular basis.

Yes there are "skilled laborers" but they're a pretty small % of the people that work in a plant.

Those folks will be recieving an unemployment check, why would they give that up to go work in a packing plant?
