The Internet

LPaulson7 - 3/26/2020 18:11 You act like a couple percent isn't a big deal...experts expect 80-150 million people to contract covid 19. 1% of that is 800,000-1.5 million people who could die. And it's not just the weak who are susceptible, someone who is young and completely health could die from this. Your immune system is a terrible "vaccine" for viruses that are completely new. Look at the spanish flu for example, that was influenza where 17-50 million people died. And that was in 1918. Look at influenza now, its not a major problem now because there is a vaccine for it. Also your normandy reference is pointless, there they knew what they were going into and could see the enemy. You cannot see covid19, you cant do anything to stop it either.

1.3 million people died in 2017 from TB

1200 people die every day from malaria, 60% of those are under 5.

We are under lock down in the UK at the moment. I am not allowed to see my girlfriend, she's not used to being by herself for long and is, totally out of characture, very distressed. What am I to do?
