Why ask them to quit pumping? I mean it doesn't make economic sense. We still import a significant amount of oil, don't we, at least our allies do? We don't send Pompeo to S. Amer and ask them to stop increasing their ag production. We don't send him to New Zealand, Canada, China etc asking them to reduce their dairy production or to lower steel production.
