And that is exactly my point! They should be hedging off their risk via the forward price of etol. They should give two s***s about what the board price of corn is if the crush has any margin in it. They are basis and crush traders but they never trade the back leg of the crush! Just about every plant manager I ve talked with has told me they rarely forward out any of their etol it’s all sold spot or basis. So they stay exposed on the future price of etol till POS!
