I would think that every day NY numbers of people infected and deaths is going to double every three days for forseeable future.
Spanish flu, the third wave a year later was the deadliest wave.
Lots more movement and travel in this economy, but balanced by understanding (wash your hands!) and new/better science that may soon have better/faster testing kits, as well as vaccine. Science today is a heckuva lot better than 100 years ago.
