Find some of those you-can-have-them-for-free 8' diameter reels the buried plastic cable or tubes for cable (often orange in color) come on.  (I have stopped at worksites along highways and they help throw them on my trailer.)  Three reals make two feeders. Very strong.  Cut and paste (weld!).  Then buy some 14 gauge precut sheets for aprons.  Last forever.  Very cheap too.
