Subject: RE: Field IQ implement switch

On my planters I have used the precision planting push button switch that mounts to the parallel arms of the planting unit. I actually use 2 of them because if you go through a washout with the 1 row it can disengage the switch. If you have 2 of them wired together then you can avoid that issue. In my case, all of my planters are 3 point so I do not have lift wheels that I can use for a switch. Otherwise, if you have lift wheels you can use those for a limit switch. Once installed you go into the field iq menu in the implement and calibrate the switch so it knows if it is up or down.
